The Virginia Tech Rover Team is up late working on getting some prototyping finished before our Project Proposal is due. Hopefully our suspension system prototype will demonstrate the effectiveness of the designed system. Using PVC to prototype with, our team is able to quickly and cheaply demonstrate designs.
Some servos were bought to be used on our rock collection system. Tonight some basic code to learn about the servos was written. We also begin implementing the logic to be used in the different claw mechanisms. Unfortunately our lead on a LaserCam turned out to be a dead end (ie. the laser cutter just disappeared). Hopefully our back up cutter will be open sometime this week for us to use. Keep posted to see the progression of the prototypes!
